$3 million coming to Pittsburg for new Center for Commercialization

The region's economy took a significant step forward with the announcement of a $3 million federal grant by U.S. Sen. Jerry Moran (R-Kan.), who was joined in making that announcement by PSU President Dan Shipp and PSU Chief Strategy Officer Shawn Naccarato. 

Chybowski to serve as interim Pride of the Plains band director

In her new role as program coordinator for advocacy services and wellness education at Pittsburg State, she's looking forward to serving university students.

Block22 plans concert for community at 4th and Broadway

Block22, a collaboration between Pittsburg State University and the City of Pittsburg, is partnering with four of its tenant businesses and a local non-profit music promoter to host a block party style concert from 7:30 to 9 p.m. on Sept. 9.
